Five labor specialists join together and launch Everfive Abogados
The founding partners of the new Spanish boutique are longstanding colleagues and share the leadership of the firm.
All five partners previously worked in DWF-RCD and have extensive experience in the labor area.
Pablo Bernal specializes in processing staff restructuring processes, collective bargaining and litigation. He has been a partner in the labor department of DWF-RCD for 5 years and, previously, director of the labor department of KPMG until 2015. Until 2010 Pablo was part of the Cusan Abogados.
Santiago Carrero, who has a wide expertise in advising companies on restructuring processes, recruitment and human resources management, has developed his professional career in various law firms, being director of the labor area of KPMG until 2015 and, from that date until 2020, partner in DWF-RCD.
Rita Fernández-Figares deals with litigation and advice on dismissals, general and special labour contracts, redundancy procedures, collective agreements, business succession and administrative sanctioning procedures. She was an associate of DWF-RCD until the foundation of Everfive Abogados and manager of the labor area of KPMG until 2015.
José Luis Díez is also experienced in litigation and has participated in many important restructuring processes in recent years. He was an associate of the labor area of DWF-RCD until the foundation of Everfive Abogados and manager of the labor area of KPMG until 2015.
Finally, Álvaro García focuses on litigation, collective bargaining and restructuring. Until the foundation of Everfive he was an associate of the labor area of DWF-RCD, manager until 2015 of KPMG and before that he was part of the labor area of Adara Asesores Legales y Tributarios.
According to Pablo Bernal, «it is very important to give the client personalized treatment, especially at a time like the present when labor issues are important. We return to our origins after an experience in KPMG Abogados and RDC-DWF. We believe that there is room for an initiative of this type».
